How to make chicken rolls recipe
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder.
- 1 teaspoon paprika.
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano.
- 4 slices of Swiss cheese.
- 8 slices of cooked bacon.
- 1 cup bread crumbs.
- 2 eggs, beaten.
- Olive oil for frying.
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap and pound them to an even thickness, about 1/4 inch.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and dried oregano.
- Lay a slice of Swiss cheese and two slices of bacon on each chicken breast.
- Roll up the chicken breasts tightly, securing them with toothpicks if necessary to hold the shape.
- Dip each chicken roll into the beaten eggs, then roll them in the bread crumbs, pressing lightly to coat evenly.
- Heat a few tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Place the chicken rolls in the skillet and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Transfer the chicken rolls to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink in the center.
- Remove the toothpicks before serving.
- Serve the chicken rolls hot with your favorite dipping sauce or alongside a salad or roasted vegetables.
